NOW is the time to start planning your team for the 2010 Komen Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure. Our goal this year is 7000 participants and forming TEAMS is the way to get there! A team can be made of ten or more family members, friends, coworkers, classmates or any group you may be a part of. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Run for future generations in hopes that breast cancer will one day be a thing of the past. Encourage team members to get creative with your team name and apparel for the Race. Encourage them to recruit additional members and solicit donations to meet your team goal.

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CHALLENGE-A Call to Action for Fresno County High School Students! Have fun while positively affecting the community!
The High School Team Challenge (HSTC) was formed in an effort to involve high school students in the fight against breast cancer through fundraising, awareness and participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. The HSTC is a competition between high schools. Led by a Team Leader and faculty staff member, each high school joins together to form a team of students and staff members to run or walk in the 12th Annual Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure. The Team Leader spearheads a promotional campaign to bring attention to the Race and to breast cancer awareness. The high schools compete with each other to find out who can form the most successful team.
